http://bit.ly/oZXQSb I was kind of dating this guy but it did not work out because he told me that he was not ready for a girlfriend he did say and do some hurtful things but he always came back and said sorry and so did I.
At the end we both agreed to cut our self from facebook and texting, but he did tell me that he would call me from time to time, but he never did and he told me to call him if i ever needed to CHAT, but I never did as well.
Now his birthday is coming up and I was wondering if I should call him up to wish him a happy birthday after 4 months of not talking to him, is that bad?? or should I not do it??? what are your thoughts on this?? Thank you. by the way our birthdays are in the same month.

If they could get a rivalry going, people might be interested in watching both shows.

http://bit.ly/o65p26 SEO is a part of SEM. SEM covers SMO as well as SEO. so in your word, SEM is better.
http://bit.ly/ojNcDj After the Panda Update,
going through an SEO Audit of your site is important. Here are the steps I go through. You will notice a lot of the steps are not “Pure SEO” steps, they are more “webmaster steps”, as SEO is easy. Seriously, it is. And going through these steps will help your site overall, even if it wasn’t affected in the Panda Update.
Before you start doing any SEO, you have to know which keywords convert for you, so once you figure out the keywords which convert in PPC you optimize for them with SEO, however, before you get to that step, you have to make sure your site is ready.
Let’s use a site I did as a review of a few years ago as an example. They aren’t a client or a member, nor am I an affiliate of theirs, so it should be a clean domain to use: patioshoppers.com.
Here we go…
Step One: Go to the site. If the site design is so bad that no one would ever buy, doing an SEO analysis is pointless. If this is for a prospect and they are unwilling to fix their design, you don’t want their SEO business. Period.
Commentary: Their site design while not great, isn’t bad. For an eCommerce site it is functional enough in my opinion to do well.
Step Two: Check for non-www protection. While you may be sick of hearing me rant about this, it can do WONDERS for your site in terms of internal duplicate content. More info.
Commentary: The example site has the rewrite in place.
Step Three: Do the “site command” to see the total number of pages in Google’s index for the domain.
Commentary: Here is an example of the search to do in Google.
siteatioshoppers.com
Returns 2,370 pages. However, if I scroll to the bottom (I have my default set to 100 results per page and you should too) I see that there are only nine pages of results (instead of 24). Clicking on “9″ it shows 875 pages. Why? Google states there is duplicate content. The amount? 1,495 pages (over 60% of the indexed pages). That’s not good.
Note: If you can’t change the default from 10 to 100 results per page, you will need to turn off Google Instant in your Search Preferences.
Possible fixes:
1) Since the non-www page protection is in place, the complete protection needs to be in place too. This will handle the know Google bug that has been around for years. Simply go to the Webmaster Tutorial and go to the section “Google Bug” for the code for the fix.
2) Edit the Titles and Descriptions which duplicate or near-duplicate so Google sees the page as unique.
3) Edit the body content so it is up-to-date.
Step Four: Check the domain in DomainTools.com. Here I am given a lot of solid information:
a) Title & Description (verify they are compelling and relevant)
b) When was the domain registered and are there red flags?
c) Is the domain on a dedicated IP address or shared?
Commentary:
a) Title and Description are okay from an SEO stand point, but if you read them out loud, they really sound bad. I would suggest making them stronger in the compelling area. They are too “SEO’d” in my view with three pipe symbols and four keyphrases. The description doesn’t have any real “punch” to it. One Title has a great call to action “Buy with confidence now!” but the rest of the Titles just fail in my view. My rewrite would be:
Title: Specialty Patio Furniture Shop with FREE Shipping – Always!
Description: Get a 110% Best Price Guarantee so when you buy your patio furniture from us you know you aren’t just getting the best price, but great furniture too. You also get access to Best Buy Guides so you know what to look for in your furniture so your investment lasts more than just one season. And if you call, you won’t get someone who doesn’t know patio furniture. They can answer ALL of your questions to ensure you make the right choice. Call Toll-Free 1.800.940.6123.
While you may argue that the Title and Description aren’t SEO’d, I would say, “So what?” you can use incoming anchor text to get the top rankings, but making the Title and Description compelling means that you can get more click throughs than your competitors even though they outrank you.
b) Many of the large graphics on the site are missing ALT text. Not all the images have height and width dimensions which can cause problems in load time. Many internal links have query strings in the URLs which can cause indexing problems with Google. This is a classic case of the need of a rewrite solution. There is a rewrite in place, however, it goes to the singular version of the domain.
c) The Keyword Meta tag is out of focus and contains keyword phrases such as “umbrellas” which are not solely focused in the patio furniture market. I would suggest reducing the amount of phrases to 10 and only include phrases which actually appear on the page. After all, let’s be honest, who really cares about the Keyword Meta Tag anymore…
d) While it states the domain was registered in ‘05, checking the Registrar History we see there was one “drop” and the domain was actually registered first back in ‘02. You can check Archive.org to see what the old site looked like.
e) The domain is on a dedicated IP address.
Step Five: Check YSlow.
a) Check Server Type and Version in bottom of browser
b) Size of Page
c) HTTP load requests
Commentary:
a) Their server is Apache, which will focus on doing mod_rewrite for their URL strings, but the version is 1.3, an outdated version. Regardless of what their host says, there are known vulnerabilities which are corrected in version 2 of Apache. The upgrade can occur without causing too much disruption (usually takes about two hours with at least one server restart).
b) 379K is pretty big for a page, especially one that is serving the images dynamically so they aren’t counted in the amount reported by YSlow, so actually the load time is pretty heavy. This site could use having their images optimized. Just doing that alone could reduce the load by 35%. Bu the big issue is the JavaScript, it is nearly 1/3 of a Meg, which is a heavy load and could cause browser load issues.
c) 112 HTTP requests is excessive and it is a problem. Most of the problem lies in the 54 JavaScript files. Yes, you read that right, 54.
Step Six: Verify a Google Webmaster Tools account
Look for the verification meta tag. If the prospect does not have a Google Webmaster Tools account, explain the importance of it. This account is vital if you want to ensure your presence in Google and to fix issues before they become problems. Don’t be paranoid about giving Google information on your sites. I have GWT accounts on all of my domains, including the Black Hat ones and nothing has ever happened. Honestly, I really don’t think Google cares. They have bigger fish to go after.
Step Seven: Verify Targeted Keyword Phrases.
Don’t let your client or prospect tell you which keywords they are going to target, let their website and GWT tell you. Check their log files to see the keywords they are currently getting traffic for and check GWT for the keywords they are getting “impressions” for but currently are not ranking in the Top Three.
Commentary:
You want to target the keywords that are getting impressions that also showed good signs of convertability with the PPC campaign that was run. Often, you can add 3-5 keyword phrases to your link building campaigns and in a matter of weeks or days you can significantly increase your ranking and get more traffic and more sales. Focusing on the right tools and data is key.
Step Eight: Link Saturation
You can run Open Site Explorer and look at the unique domain and total links for the top keywords that are being targeted. You can also look at the overall authority of the site.
Commentary: Page Authority is 60 and Domain Authority is 53. This is weak based on how long the domain has been around. The domain only has 567 unique domains linking to it and just under 8,000 links. Based on the age of the site, you would expect these numbers to be a lot higher. There are many keywords being targeted by the home page, for example: patio heaters (81-168), patio umbrellas (61-205) and patio furniture (53-2,219). As you can see, none of the targeted keywords has at least 100 unique domains pointing to them. The first two keywords rank in the top three, but the last phrase doesn’t rank in the top ten. It is probably clear that that phrase’s ratio is off. They simply need to get more unique domains, as currently the ratio is more than 40-1, while a site ranking above them is a mere 10-1. While this is not an exact science, I have seen great movement with the Panda update by lowering the ratios.
Step Nine: Cache Rate in Google
You want to make sure the site is getting cached on a regular basis. I use the Crawl Test over at SEOMoz (paid service) to test the top 50 pages to see which are having difficulty getting crawled on a regular basis.
cache:http://http://bit.ly/52bzzn
Commentary: Our example site has about a dozen or so pages which need help getting indexed more often.
Possible Fixes:
1) Ensure page with old cache is listed in the Google XML Sitemap.
2) Verify links pointing to the page with an old cache date appear on either the home page or a main category page. Often, links drop off, thus Google can’t crawl the page on its own.
3) Get 10-20 really good links pointing to the page from pages that have fresh cache dates.
Step Ten: Run a quick analysis in SpyFu on the domain.
You can export the Organic Rankings, Paid Rankings and Competitors from here. This will allow you to understand the space better and give the prospect/client a good idea of what they are up against.
Bonus Step: Check for Spam Links – especially in a Blog.
With malware infections becoming more and more common online these days, sites and blogs are being “compromised” without the webmaster even knowing it. Typically, the Spammer will place dozens, hundreds, or even thousands and links “hidden” in the code to their Viagra, Casino, Porn, etc. sites.
How can you check? It’s pretty simple.
Just do a site command in Google. For example:
siteatioshoppers.com casino
This will check the domain for any reference to the word “casino.” If you get a few hundred pages returned and you are NOT in the casino business, chances are VERY good you’ve been hacked.
Other phrases you should check would be:
porn
viagra
cialis
Just four and it will take you less then two minutes to run the check. If you find evidence of a hack attempt and this site is a prospect’s site, guess what? You’ve probably just landed their business.
For future searches, I would highly recommend setting up a Google Alert.
So, from the above, this is the summary I would give the prospect so it is easy for them to understand and comprehend.
1) Your site is suffering from Internal Duplicate Content and Google has multiple copies of the same page indexed. We can work with your webmaster to clean this up. It is affecting 60% of your indexed pages right now, so it is pretty serious.
2) We recommend rewriting your Titles and Meta Tags to give you better “clickability” in the search results.
3) Your images all need ALT tags and they need to be optimized. Right now your home page is loading nearly a half meg of images. That is too much and can cause issues with loading for some customers.
—————–
I would concentrate on giving three “action items” which would give the most benefit to the client or prospect. Back when I did consulting, one of the biggest mistakes I made was giving the client or prospect “information overload”. In fact, there was a time when I would run a WebPosition report and give the prospect a printed bound report that was over 100 pages in size.
Big mistake. They never looked at it, and even if they did, they didn’t know what it meant.
Keep things simple, to the point and concentrate on the BENEFITS they will receive by following your advice. Focus on continually driving more conversions and you will always be trusted.
going through an SEO Audit of your site is important.
